TURNAROUND TIMES
We offer three different turnaround times for our final draft transcription service: 5 business days, 2 business days, and 24 hours. All rough draft orders are processed in 5 business days. If you uploaded multiple audio or video files in one order, we deliver the transcripts for each file separately, as they are completed. Transcripts are delivered via email and/or uploaded to your online account when they are completed.
As a general policy, we deliver up to 20 hours of audio per week. This means if you order 40 hours of audio under the 5 business day turnaround time, you should expect all files to be completed within 2 weeks. If you are an enterprise customer or are interested in increasing the delivery rate, please reach out to us to discuss.
We strive to deliver files in a consistent, timely manner. Less than 2% of orders are delivered after their due dates, a measure well ahead of industry averages. The reasons for late delivery vary. Large orders can take longer to move through our system; audio files that are challenging can take us longer to transcribe; significant volumes of work can hit our system and cause some delays. When an order is going to be delivered late, we communicate with you and notify our transcription managers to ensure each situation is managed and communicated appropriately.
